Time Management

Managing time in high school can be challenging because of the busy schedule of the average student.  Many students go to school early, attend hours of classes 5 days a week, hang out with friends for hours, study for countless tests, have family time, and more.

Fortunately, there are some useful smart phone apps to help students manage their time.  For instance, called 30/30 allows students to set a time limit for each task that you do.  For instance, study for a short test on vocabulary words might require 30 minutes for 1 or 2 weeks.  30/30, a free app available on iOS and Android systems, will let the user set the name of the task, spread out a time for breaks, alert students to move on to another task, pause, extend, or shorten the time of a task, and more.

Students that want to do well in high school and go on to college should try using 30/30.
