From middle school to PhD education levels, students are using Quizlet to help them prepare for their school exams (i.e., psychology test, history test, biology test, high school exit exam, yearly exams), national admissions exams (i.e., PSAT, SAT, ACT, GRE), and career exams (i.e., psychologists, counselor). Yes, Quizlet is like using online flashcard sets; however, there are several cool features found in Quizlet. Let's explore those features here. For one, Quizlet allows you to create an account, where you can search for study guides by topic. A student that has to study for intro to psychology can type that into Quizlet by doing a search. The student has literally a dozen or more study sets to choose for their study sessions. In fact, the student can add each set to their profile. On the Quizlet student profile, the user can print out the flash cards using various printing formats to get a study guide. Another cool feature of Quizlet is that students can take a test based on the flash card sets. A student can choose all or one of the test type features, which are fill in the blank, multiple choice, matching, and true or false. Quizlet also offers built in games where students can try to answer as quickly as possible through scatter play or matching. Lastly, Quizlet allows students to access content via the Quizlet app. This app is available for iPhone, iPad, and android devices. I personally have used Quizlet to study via the iPad app, iPhone app, computer, and study guide print out. I certaintly passed my exams with the help of Quizlet. I encourage every student to use this program.
